After being pleasantly surprised by their debut CD last year, I have to say this follow up is a bit of a disappointment. While still funneled through a Melvins style sound meeting something like Bl’ast! Many of the song on this record are kind of crappy. They drag on forever and honestly would work a lot better as two songs split in half. I do like Those Dumb Punk Kids Will Buy Anything. I think there is something to be said for simplicity, and if this collaboration cut their song lengths in half I think there would be something excellent here. Also on here are a bunch of totally unnecessary “remixes” of some songs.
