A classic record from this stoner rock band. Any band that can combine stoner jams, Glen E. Friedman photos, and an SSD cover is ok by me. I don’t really have much else to say other than that this is perfect driving and skating music. These guys are great live too. Fu Manchu are a great example of a truly “hardcore” band whose roots are solidly in hardcore but have branched off into other stuff that is just as great.

this was indeed a great album. if you can find it, seek out the ‘godzilla’s eatin’ dust’ CD/LP which compiled both 10″s they did on the long defunct Mans Ruin Label (the CD/ LP was also released on Mans Ruin)… some of their best work imo. shame these dudes went downhill with ‘king of the road’ and plundered even further with ‘california crossing’… musta been the haircuts…
